#11: PEOPLE SHOULD "THROW CLUMPS OF EXCREMENT" AT MEGHAN MARKLE: TOP GEAR HOST
Say "winter closure period" not "Christmas" + Conor McGregor supports anti-migrant protesters + Germany wants to cancel Bismarck + artificial womb factories + MORE!
TOP GEAR HOST: “I HATE” MEGHAN MARKLE
Former host of Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson penned a biting op-ed in The Sun on Friday, slamming Meghan Markle for turning Prince Harry into a “warrior of woke.”
“At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, “Shame!” and throw lumps of excrement at her,” wrote Clarkson.
“My generation will all be dead, and we will be replaced by a new bunch who are growing up believing that Charles and William and Co are bullies who are waited on hand and foot by slaves, eunuchs and spin doctors.”
Clarkson’s op-ed has many allies of Markle up in arms – including his own daughter.
Clarkson doesn’t seem to be perturbed, however, as he spent most of Sunday tweeting about the World Cup match.
CONOR MCGREGOR STANDS WITH IRISH PROTESTERS OPPOSED TO MIGRANT CENTRE
UFC star Conor McGregor tweeted in support of East Wall residents in Dublin, Ireland who have been protesting plans to erect a migrant accommodation centre in the neighbourhood.
Although by Sunday McGregor had deleted the tweet, the Irish outlet Gript recounts:
“I stand with the people of East Wall. And no I do not want to be a politician. Just that they have to answer to me,” tweeted McGregor.
Residents in East Wall have been protesting the migrant housing project for weeks now. Without consultation, the government moved forward to house hundreds of migrants.
Protesters claim that officials are ignoring their concerns about the project which include worries about “busloads of young single men arrived here at night and we don’t know who they are, they are not vetted.”
“They are using charges of racism to try to shout us down, but we have to think about our daughters and their safety and what’s best for this community,” said one local woman.
”TRANSWOMAN” KNOCKS GIRL UNCONSCIOUS IN WOMEN’S BATHROOM
A transgender woman at Edmond Memorial High School violently attacked two female students in the restroom, according to the outlet Reduxx.
Police arrived at the high school to find two victims who sustained injuries as a result of the altercation.
The girls were found with “several red areas” on their face and swelling around their eyes.
According to witness accounts, the transgender students tried to talk to the girls but upon being ignored she began to beat the two girls.
One of the students was allegedly “knocked out clean on the floor.” Charges have since been laid for assault and batter as well as disorderly conduct by the Edmond Police Department.
“Administrators at Edmond Memorial High School investigated an injury fight involving two students in a women’s restroom,” a spokesperson with the school told the outlet.
“During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that one of the students involved in the fight is transgender and was using the women’s restroom in violation of state law which requires students to use restrooms according to the sex on their birth certificate.”
NOT “CHRISTMAS” BUT “WINTER CLOSURE PERIOD”
UK’s University of Brighton has told staff that saying “Christmas” is too “Christian-centric” and that they should use the term “winter closure period” instead.
The “inclusive language guidance” document asks staff to use “inclusive language confidently and effectively, in order to ensure that both students and staff alike feel safe, valued and respected.”
Civil rights advocate and member of the Freedom Association Andrew Allison called the change “Orwellian and ridiculous.”
“Universities are supposed to be places where ideas are freely debated,” said Allison.
“This is Orwellian and ridiculous. Staff and students ought to ignore it and have a good Christmas.”
DESCENDANTS OF BISMARCK OUTRAGED OVER GOV BUILDING NAME CHANGE
Descendants of the German Empire’s first Chancellor Otto von Bismarck expressed outrage in an open letter to Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock after she renamed the “Bismarck Room” to the “Hall of German Unity.”
Baerbock cited debates around Bismarck’s legacy in Germany as a reason behind the change – including accusations of racism and colonialism.
The Bismarck family – which includes over 300 members today – accused Baerbock of “twisting history in her own country.”
"The moralizing foreign minister failed in her duties," the statement read.
"Achievements of the first German chancellor, Otto von Bismarck, from which Germany still benefits today, are ignored in this way."
ECTOLIFE ARTIFICIAL WOMB FACILITY
A viral concept video about an artificial baby-farm has stirred quite the controversy.
Created by Berlin-based producer and pop scientist Hashem Al-Ghaili, the video envisions a Matrix-like human incubator factory.
“The facility features 75 highly equipped labs. Each state-of-the-art lab can accomodate up to 400 growth pods or artificial wombs,” the video explains.
“A single building can incubate up to 30,000 lab grown babies per year.”
Al-Ghaili also envisions the factory allowing for DNA genetic modifications before birth.
“And if you want your baby to stand out and have a brighter future, our Elite Package offers you the opportunity to genetically engineer the embryo before implating it into the artificial womb… You can edit any trait of your baby through a wide range of over 300 genes.”
As I reported last week, the Germans seem to have an odd obsession with genetic engineering.
