MILLIONS IN DEMOCRAT DARK MONEY TO TAKE OUT ORBAN
A bombshell new report by Hungary’s secret service published this week claims that an organization with ties to the US Democratic Party allegedly funneled nearly $4.6 million USD for Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s main opponent, United for Hungary.
Ultimately the funds failed to accomplish the job as Orban took a majority during this year’s parliamentary elections but the presence of foreign funding in Hungary’s elections has critics accusing opposition parties of violating Hungary’s sovereignty.
First founded in Feb 24, 2022, Action for Democracy immediately transferred the 1.8 billion forints (4.4 million EUR) to the United for Hungary movement.
The amount is several times larger than what Hungary’s state budget allocates for election campaigning.
According to director-general of Hungary’s National Information Center Zoltan Andras Kovacs, investigations into financial fraud, embezzlement and money laundering are ongoing.
Orban has been an outspoken opponent of progressive politics and the Democrats in particular. His August appearance at the 2022 CPAC forum in Texas caused shock waves of outrage on US liberal media.
“We are not the favourites of the American Democrats. They did not want me to be here and they made every effort to drive a wedge between us,” said Orban in his speech.
"They hate me and slander me and my country as they hate you and slander you and the America you stand for. We all know how this works."
CARBON TRACKING CREDIT CARDS ARRIVE IN CANADA
In many ways, Canada is a giant experiment. Whether it’s mass immigration, climate change initiatives or else, we always seem to be at the head of the pack when it comes to hurtling towards a so-called progressive utopia.
This time around, the British Columbia based credit union Vancity has unveiled the first ever carbon tracking Visa card.
“Members will be able to see how their monthly tally compares to the national average, or which credit card purchases have the highest environmental cost,” the financial provider wrote.
“The Carbon Counter will help Vancity card holders understand the carbon footprint of their purchases as well as provide advice on what they can do to reduce their emissions footprint.”
While the tracker will only monitor purchases by assigning a carbon score it will also provide “recommendations” on how to have a lower carbon footprint. But what if those recommendations become more than a simple nudge to shop smarter?
Everybody knows the downsides of not having a good credit score – being turned down for a loan, getting bad interest rates, etc. So it’s not far-fetched to assume that adding a “carbon score” to a consumer’s record could carry potential consequences for polluters in the near future.
After all, credit scores at their inception were only informative and became mandatory by the mid-1990s.
PERV PRIEST BUSTED SHOOTING DOMINATRIX PORNO IN CHURCH
A sex-crazed former Catholic priest from Louisiana has plead guilty to breaking obscenity laws after he was found in the midst of a threesome with two dominatrices on a local church altar one night.
One late September evening in 2020, 39-year-old pastor Travis Clark was discovered by a passerby engaging in unholy acts with the two women.
Not to worry though, all was consensual. The trio had even prepared a full camera and stage lighting set up to film the affair.
Clark has been ejected from the Church and the desecrated altar was destroyed by the archdiocese. He has been sentenced to a three-year suspended prison sentence for the felony and must pay a $1,000 fine.
To this day, he doesn’t seem too perturbed by the case.
BRITS WANT TO MONITOR ENCRYPTED CHATS
The United Kingdom’s media regulator, Ofcom, could soon have more powers than MI6 – the country’s intelligence agency.
Currently, legislators are considering passing the “Online Safety Bill” to force encrypted messaging providers like Telegram and Signal to cough up details about the private content shared between users.
Companies who refuse could face a fine of up to 10% of their global revenue.
Ofcourse this is all under the guise of “safety” and combatting terrorism or child abuse. Who could possibly be against “online safety”?
Welcome the land that brought you licenses to watch TV.
LGBT HUFFPO JOURNO DEFENDS JK ROWLING
In a twist of fate, a LGBT Huffington Post journalist tasked with writing a hit piece on JK Rowling has come to the author’s defense.
According to E J Rosetta, Rowling is "not an intolerable transphobe” as she’s been labelled by the transgender community.
As you know, Rowling has faced attacks for outrageous opinions like believing men can’t become women.
“Three months of dedicated research & I cannot find a single truly transphobic JK Rowling quote that stands up against the scrutiny of journalistic integrity. The abuse JK has endured is beyond forgiveness,” concludes Roseta.
Duh. The fact that it took her 12 weeks to realize this is kind of embarassing though.
