#85: HUNGARY HAS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR PRO-HAMAS RALLIES
Knife attack in France on global day of Jihad + Study claims that more mRNA side-effects means vaccine is working better + Argentina's left-wing gov facing inflationary crisis + MORE!
HUNGARY PLEDGES ZERO TOLERANCE FOR PRO-HAMAS DEMONSTRATIONS
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán made a resolute declaration on Friday, asserting that his country would not tolerate demonstrations resembling those seen in Western Europe this week in support of the Hamas terrorist group's attack on Israel.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Prime Minister Orbán conveyed a stern message:
“There will be no pro-terror demonstrations in Hungary,” wrote Orbán on X.
Over the past week, substantial crowds in multiple European nations have gathered to attend anti-Israel demonstrations.
These Rallies coincided with the Hamas attack on Israel, which resulted in the tragic loss of hundreds of innocent lives, including women and children, and the capture of numerous hostages.
Orbán has pointed to his government’s tough stance on illegal immigration, including erecting a border wall in 2015 as a reason behind why some of the same conflicts happening elsewhere in Europe are not playing out on Hungarian soil.
One notable case occurred in France, home to the largest Jewish population in Europe and, by some estimates, the largest Muslim population as well. The city of Lyon witnessed the deployment of tear gas to disperse a pro-Palestinian demonstration.
KNIFE ATTACK AT FRANCE HIGH SCHOOL ON GLOBAL DAY OF JIHAD
A knife-wielding Chechen citizen launched a shocking attack at Gambetta High School in Arras on Friday at 11 a.m., injuring multiple victims.
Two individuals, a teacher and a security guard, suffered severe stab wounds. The assailant and his brother were swiftly arrested by the police.
Shortly before 1 p.m., the national anti-terrorism prosecution took over the investigation, opening a probe into the circumstances surrounding the attack. The charges being considered include "murder in relation to a terrorist enterprise," "attempted murder in relation to a terrorist enterprise," and "terrorist criminal association."
The investigation has been handed over to the national anti-terrorist police (SDAT) as the coordinating service, as well as the national directorate for the judicial police (DNPJ) and the Directorate-General for Internal Security (DGSI), signifying the gravity of the incident.
This disturbing act of terror coincides with the call by Hamas for global Muslim outrage on October 13, amplifying concerns.
Former Hamas leader Khalid Mashal, urged Muslims worldwide to express their anger on this Friday, October 13, and reportedly seeking retribution in the form of bloodshed. The connection, if any, between these events remains under investigation.
STUDY CLAIMS MORE SIDE-EFFECTS MEANS BETTER VACCINE
A recent US study made the absurd claim that severe "vaccination reactions" or "side effects" might be a sign of the mRNA vaccine working even more effectively.
The study begins with a candid acknowledgment: "TProtection against SARS-CoV-2 wanes over time, and booster uptake has been low, in part because of concern about side effects."
As side effects can no longer be dismissed, the approach now seems to be reframing them as potentially beneficial. To explore this, the research team delved into the "relationship between local and systemic symptoms, biometric changes, and neutralizing antibodies (nAB) after mRNA vaccination."
The study involved assessing antibody levels one or six months post-vaccination, with the researchers discovering an intriguing link.
They noted, "We found that certain symptoms such as chills, tiredness, malaise, and headache after the second dose were associated with an increase in neutralizing antibodies (nAB); individuals experiencing these symptoms had 140-160% more antibodies than those who did not exhibit any symptoms."
A similar trend was observed for individuals with an elevated pulse and those who developed a fever.
LEFT-WING ARGENTINA GOV FACES UNCONTROLLABLE INFLATION
Argentina is facing an economic crisis with analysts predicting an astonishing 181 percent surge in prices for this year. The situation is compounded by a left-wing government struggling to stabilize the nation's fragile economy.
While some Western countries are witnessing a gradual easing of inflation, Argentina is reminiscent of a nation on the brink of financial collapse.
The central bank's survey among analysts forecasts a troubling spike in price growth for 2023.
In an attempt to curb the crisis, Argentina raised its policy rate to an unprecedented 133 percent, eclipsing even Turkey’s. The country has been grappling with runaway inflation for years, resulting in widespread poverty, decay, and despair.
Argentina's economic turmoil can be attributed to political mismanagement, and its once-prosperous status in South America has significantly dwindled since 2016, largely due to mounting foreign debt and successive socialist governments.
EUROPEAN COMMISSION PROPOSES NEW ONLINE HATE SPEECH RULES
The European Commission is stepping up its efforts to combat what it calls illegal "hate speech" online with a new code of conduct. This initiative extends beyond mere content removal, urging online platforms to proactively prevent and anticipate threats.
The move follows discussions in the "High-Level Group on Combating Hate Speech and Hate Crime."
EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders highlighted the changing digital landscape, stressing new challenges and threats in online hate speech and freedom of expression. He called on signatories to make the EU a hate-free zone.
This agreement, if accepted, will replace the 2016 commitment by digital service providers. It promises swift removal of "illegal hate speech," with most reports reviewed within 24 hours.
The new policy introduces reporting mechanisms, imposes stricter content removal requirements, and aims to reduce systemic risks, including so-called misinformation and manipulation.
