3 YEARS IN PRISON FOR SAYING MEN CAN’T BE LESBIANS
Norwegian filmmaker Tonje Gjevjon could face three years in prison if convicted of criminal hate speech.
Gjevjon – who is a lesbian herself – was under investigation for telling an LGBT activist that transgender women who were born men cannot be lesbians.
"It’s just as impossible for men to become a lesbian as it is for men to become pregnant. Men are men regardless of their sexual fetishes,” said Gjevjon.
In 2020, Norway added “gender identity and gender expression” as a protected category to their criminal code. Activists have since used the law to clamp down on those critical of gender ideology.
“GIFT” ROCKET LAUNCHER FROM UKRAINE EXPLODES IN POLISH POLICE HQ
Polish Police General Jaroslaw Szymczyk was sent to hospital after a rocket launcher he received as a gift during a visit to Ukraine exploded at Warsaw’s police headquarters.
Luckily nobody died but the explosion damaged several offices and collapsed the ceiling of the building’s ground floor.
According to one news outlet the grenade launcher set off when Szymczyk and others were inspecting the weapon. Unaware that it was loaded, the police chief set the trigger off and lobbed a grenade across his office.
The country’s Ministry of Interior is facing criticism for taking 30 hours to confirm the incident.
FRENCH ANTIFA ATTACKS SOCCER FAN CARRYING NATIONAL FLAG
In Paris, so-called antifascists attacked a soccer fan for daring to show national pride by carrying a French flag in the city’s downtown core.
A video posted to the “Jeune Garde” Instagram page shows a group of masked men grab the fan and shove him off of the sidewalk.
The thugs then proceed to grab at the fan’s flag. According to commentators, the group has ties to leading left-wing party La France Insoumise.
ACTRESS FLASHED BOOBS IN FRONT OF CHILDREN ON CHRISTMAS FAMILY TV PROGRAM
European TV has always been a bit weird. I don’t think most North Americans know what passes as acceptable evening programming over there.
But this story is more than a bit weird. It’s just bizarre.
Norway’s public broadcaster NRK is facing public backlash after 27-year-old actress Oyunn Krogh exposed herself and offered breast milk to guests on a family Christmas game show in an awkward bid to crack a joke.
“Would anyone like some milk with their coffee?” Krogh asked guests after lifting her shirt.
The stunt happened on Monday’s episode of “24 Star Christmas Calendar” and included Krogh exposing herself to a 15-year-old boy. The reality TV show runs from Dec. 1 until Christmas Eve and features 24 Norwegian celebrities performing various challenges every episode. Winners are deemed the “Ultimate Christmas Star.”
In response to criticism, the network decided not to censor Krogh and has even defended the actress.
“The family themselves think the performance was funny, and named Øyunn as the evening's winner,” said NRK project editor Mirja Minjares.
“I am aware that many people think that boobs are something that we should protect ourselves from. But initially this was slightly sexualized behaviour, and since the family thought it was funny, we had no problem with publishing the content.”
TRANS ACTIVISTS TRASH CAFE OVER GENDER-CRITICAL EVENT
Trans activists in Belgium trashed a Brussels cafe after it hosted an event critical of child sex changes.
In a tweet, Cafe Laique Bruxelles posted photos showing rocks and dirt strewn throughout the premises.
The vandals also posted a sign on the business’s window accusing it of being a “racist transphobe cafe.”
“The Brussels secular café was vandalized tonight by transactivist terrorists. We filed a complaint,” wrote the business.
Despite the vandalism the cafe was able to host gender-critical speakers Caroline Eliacheff and Celine Masson.
SOUTH SUDAN PRESIDENT PISSES HIMSELF
South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit emptied his bladder on live television while listening to his country’s national anthem.
A clip of the incident show Mayardit looking down at his trousers as they darken and spectators look on with disgust.
Nigerian Senator Shehu Sani called the incident an “extreme act of patriotism” on Mayardit’s part.
“I have seen a viral video of the President of South Sudan wetting himself in public,” said Sani.
“This may be a urinary sickness or an extreme act of patriotism; refusal to excuse himself while the national anthem was being played.”
