JANUARY LINK DUMP
Publishers employ "sensitivity readers" for trigger warnings + scientist demands individual carbon limits + France wants to "degender" toys from birth + UK ends boosters for people under 50 + MORE!
I’m excited to say that some more improvements are on their way in the coming weeks! Let the following update serve as THE OUTER EDGE’s Patch 1.1.0.
As you might have noticed the newsletter has started an interview series, featuring interesting and prominent voices from the dissident sphere from across the world. I was delighted to release two interviews last month with Americano Media journalist Emmanuel Rincón and German MEP Christine Anderson.
The interviews in their entirety will continue to remain exclusively available to full subscribers. They have proven to be quite the draw, so if you’re a free subscriber who wants to gain access to those or the full monthly link dumps please consider switching to a paid membership for $5 CAD/month!
You can also expect THE OUTER EDGE to have a more consistent “look” to it as we work to give the newsletter and its various components an integrated style.
Some of the stylistic updates being unrolled include:
Unique graphics for every Saturday, Sunday and monthly link dump issue
Stylized subheaders
More graphic content throughout each newsletter
I think I’ve also settled on these monthly link dumps serving the double-purpose of being a meta update on the publication’s growth as well as the traditional “link dump” resources I first envisioned them to be.
Although we’re seeing consistent growth, THE OUTER EDGE is still a small publication and that means we rely on you to help us grow.
As you might have heard, Twitter is a mess – dissident creators are still being deranked and engagement is being suppressed. Even though I have a considerable following on there, that doesn’t necessarily translate into a Substack audience. That’s why we need you to help THE OUTER EDGE grow by linking back to us anytime you share a piece of news you discovered on here.
I have a little bit of help but I curate, design and write this Substack largely on my own. Your support is appreciated and is the fuel that allows me to pursue this project in my free time!
This January’s link dump is the biggest one yet! I think there’s over 30 pieces of content in this newsletter so enjoy.
