MARCH LINK DUMP
Author facing death threats over Islam exposé + Brazil's Lula mandates 30% race-based hiring + study finds social trust decreases with more diversity + 60% of left-wing voters support violence + MORE!
After taking a break over the Easter long weekend THE OUTER EDGE is back with a new link dump and some updates.
In less than two weeks we’re at a point where we can’t embed Twitter links on Substack and we can’t share/like Substack links on Twitter.
One of the main reasons I moved to Substack was because of Twitter’s utter lack of ability to provide any viable monetization options for content creators.
As somebody who has a decent following on Twitter, this new development places me in a tough spot. Without access to posting links on Twitter, I’m faced with limited prospects in growing my audience on this platform while also not being provided an alternative to be compensated for my work.
I have thought over this issue quite a bit in the last few days and have decided to stick it out here for now.
My hope is that Substack becomes better at directing traffic internally to committed creators and that this social media war is only temproary.
This means that I now rely on you, my subscribers, more than ever to share this newsletter. THE OUTER EDGE is counting on you to share links on social media platforms that don’t limit Substack’s reach!
Tell your family, your friends, even your drug dealers about us. We seriously appreciate it!
Due to these developments I will have to put a few features on pause for the time being including my planned membership giveaway.
To better engage with the Substack community, I do plan on using the new notes feature as soon as possible.
For the time being, here’s over a dozen international stories that didn’t make it into last month’s newsletters (minus the Twitter video links).
Some of the following links re-route through Google Translate so please be patient while the webpage loads.
